Wild Card Weekend!

Are you ready for the first round of playoffs? Are the playoff teams ready for their games? Will my playoff picks improve my regular season picking score of (57%) 146-110? We can only hope so.

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday:
Saints @ Seahawks
Yes, the Hawks are playing at home. Yes, they beat the Rams last week, mostly because they were at home. Yes, they are in the playoffs at 7-9. (WTF?) But yes, they also faced three quality teams in the second half of the season (Chiefs, Giants, and Falcons) and lost by an average of 23 points all at Qwest Field. Even the banged up, warm weather, dome loving Saints should be able to win this game on the road.

Jets @ Colts
Rex Ryan has not been able to defend against Peyton Manning. Peyton is just too good and he has home field advantage this week. Look for Rex to be packing it home after this weekend and to start his trash talking some time after the Super Bowl-when we all forget that he and his precious Jets lost during the Wild Card weekend.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday:
Ravens @ Chiefs
The Chiefs have come a long way this season, but it all ends in Arrowhead on Sunday when the Ravens come to town. The Ravens' offense may be mediocre, but if their defense holds up through all four quarters they can easily beat the Chiefs, who just don't have as many weapons or tough players as the Ravens.

Packers @ Eagles
The Pack is a team that many of us picked to go to the Super Bowl at the start of the season. And the last few weeks of the season we watched as they fought for their right to be in the playoffs, (after all, no one expected the Bears to take the NFC North this season). The Pack will still be riding their momentum as they head into Philly. And while Vick and the Eagles have been packing quite the punch, they still don't have as strong of a team as the Pack does.
