Sunday Sunday SUNDAY! It's the last day of regular season football everyone! Hope you are enjoying the start of the morning games and the late morning picks.
The last weekend we have to endure the craptastic games and they are:
Panthers @ Falcons
It's a walk in the park for the Falcons, and the Panthers are playing bad enough to not care about their last game. They already have the first pick in the draft.
Bills @ Jets
A lot of people are picking this game as the upset of the week because the Jets don't have to play to win. The Jets will play for pride however and the Bills won't be able to pull off the upset.
Cards @ 49ers
Ugh. I guess I'll pick the 49ers at home under their new (short-term) interim coach.
Rams @ Seahawks
While the Hawks are at an advantage this week at home in Qwest Field with the 12th man, they are playing the Rams. The Rams have more talent, more discipline and want desperately to hang on to the lead in the NFC West.
Not Craptastic but not Fantastic:
Dolphins @ Pats
While the Fish have been better on the road, they are so sporadic that I don't believe they can win at Foxboro. That, and every frickin' time I pick them they lose. Pats win.
Bucs @ Saints
The Bucs are playing hard and will be contenders in the next couple of years to come. Until then, the Saints are dead set on defending why they they were Super Bowl Champs last year.
Vikings @ Lions
I've lost track of who's playing QB for the Vikings this week, but the Lions will win at home anyway.
Raiders @ Chiefs
The Chiefs have won the division, but they also don't want to be embarrassed at home buy the Raiders. Chiefs win.
Bengals @ Ravens
The Bengals have fallen from last season's status, and this game won't be any different. The Ravens will win at home.
Steelers @ Browns
We'll see if Mangenius checks his bag of tricks for today's game, or if he rolls over and lets Holmgren fire him. Either way, the Steelers are playing for the bye week and the division win.
Jags @ Texans
The Jags won't have Garrard for QB today, and the Texans will pull out a surprising win so that Kubiak can stay on for another mediocre season.
Cowboys @ Eagles
This was going to be a fantastic game until Kitna and Vick became probable to not play. I'll take Kolb over McGhee.
Giants @ Redsk!ns
The G-men have had their struggles, but the Sk!ns have also had more struggles and more drama. Look for the G-men to win on the road.
Chargers @ Broncos
Tebow is a winner, he has a winning attitude, he's been working hard to prove all those naysayers wrong, and God probably listens more closely to him than most other people. At the end of the day, I think Tebow can rally a broken Broncos team over the Chargers.
Titans @ Colts
The Titans haven't been consistent enough to make this game that interesting. The Colts will win at home.
The only Fantastic Competition of the week:
Bears @ Packers
The Pack should have won the first matchup earlier in the season except for all their frickin' penalties. The Pack will be looking to redeem itself and to secure its playoff spot.
