And I almost forgot about my blog. Ha.
Even though the National Anthem just played in the Vikings @ Saints game I can still make my pick, and then get my act together for Sunday and Monday.

I'm predicting this game to be a close one. But alas, the Saints will pull out the win. Why? They are riding on an all-time high after winning their first Super Bowl. Coach Sean Payton and QB Drew Brees are amazing leaders. And... on the other side... we have Coach Chilly who's still whining that there were late hits on his antique QB in the last NFC Championship game. The Vikings can only make it so far with that kind of leadership ability in their Coach. "I didn't win. So I'm going to whine. And pout. And whine some more."
See you on the flip side of this game when I make my picks for the rest of Week One. (I just figured it would be fair to make this post before the clock clicks down too far in this game.)
